Fraternity Board of Trustees
The Fraternity Board comprises thirteen elected members, ten of the thirteen are alumni, and three are undergraduates on the Undergraduate Advisory Committee (UGAC).
President – Dan Bureau, Ph.D. (University of New Hampshire, '95)
+ Bio
Dan Bureau, Ph.D., joined Phi Kappa Theta at the University of New Hampshire. He has worked in higher education for over 25 years and serves as Assistant Vice President for Student Health and Well-being at Louisiana State University (LSU). He is also the immediate Past President of the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS). He served as the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors President in 2004 and has held roles in other higher education and interfraternal organizations. His focus areas have included fraternity and sorority life, leadership programs, student affairs assessment, first-generation college students, and the health and well-being of college students. Before serving LSU, he served at the University of New Mexico, the University of Illinois, Indiana University, and the University of Memphis.
He has presented at several association conferences and has authored peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and many other publications. He is the co-editor and contributor to Leading Assessment for Student Success: Ten Tenets That Change Culture and Practice in Student Affairs.
Dan enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and staying fit.
Vice President – Wade Henderson (Washington State University, '95)

Wade Henderson graduated from Washington State University with a degree in business and economics. As an undergraduate in the Washington Alpha Delta chapter, Wade was a founding father and held positions of Social Chair, Vice President, and President. After graduation, Wade continued to serve Phi Kappa Theta on the professional staff as a leadership consultant and Director of Programming. He has also held province leadership positions.
Wade currently resides in San Diego, where he works in Customer Success for an Identity Access Management company. He enjoys the sunshine and all the outdoor activities that Southern California has to offer.
Wade also holds an MBA from Auburn University and spends Saturdays during the Fall rooting for the Cougs and Tigers!
Secretary – Seth Ware (Trine University, '13)
+ Bio
Seth Ware graduated from Trine University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He currently works for Cooper Standard as a Lead System Developer maintaining internal web applications for various business units in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Before joining Cooper Standard, he was a Software Engineer for Trimble, Inc. in Hamilton, Indiana. Seth is an Assistant Track and Field Coach for Trine University, specializing in sprint and hurdle events. He has certifications from USA Track & Field and the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association. Locally, Seth has served as a Resident Agent for the Alpha Gamma Alumni Association after serving as the President.
Nationally, Seth has served as a member of the Business Operations Committee and as a Performance Coach for several chapters, along with being the chairman of the Peer Accountability Committee.
Treasurer – Ray Wu (San Diego State University, '11)
+ Bio
Raymond Wu graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) in 2011 with a kinesiology degree. At SDSU, he served in various leadership roles for the California Phi lota Chapter: secretary, finance director, and chapter president. Upon graduation, he served as the chapter alumni advisor and the alumni president until 2018.
Professionally, he has committed himself to our Fraternity's Motto: "Give Expecting Nothing Thereof," and pursued a career serving others. He has spent the last ten years with the YMCA of San Diego County. He is the Associate Executive Director, leading branch operations in one of the most diverse communities in the country.
In his spare time, he volunteers as a mentor to an organization that works with foster youth and young adults. He enjoys playing basketball and golf. He loves food adventures and traveling.
UGAC Chair – Ralph Wasow (University of Georgia)
+ Bio
Raphael Wasow pledged the Georgia Delta Rho chapter in Spring 2021 and served as Rush Chairman and Chapter President prior to joining the UGAC. He studies mechanical engineering and will graduate Spring 2024, beginning his career with Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas.
In his free time, he enjoys running, motorsports, and playing live music. Raphael is grateful for the bonds and experiences he has made through Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, and he is proud to represent the undergraduate population of the Fraternity.
UGAC Vice Chair – Alex Laitinen (Bridgewater State University)

Alexander Laitinen is from Bridgewater State University studying Music Anthropology. Within the Massachusetts Zeta Chapter he is served as President, Executive Secretary, Recruitment Chair, Ritualist and Historian. He is honored to have the opportunity to continue serving the chapters of the Northeast region as the Undergraduate Advisory Committee Vice Chair.
UGAC Vice Chair – Jack Swaim (Eastern Illinois University)

Jack Swaim is from Kankakee, Illinois, and is a Junior at Eastern Illinois University majoring in exercise science with a focus in pre-physical therapy. He has served as the Vice President of Social, Recruitment and as the Chapter President of the Illinois Alpha Omega chapter. After school he palns on attending grad school at U of I.

Trustee - Doug Dilling (Kansas State University, '84)
+ Bio
Doug Dilling joined Phi Kappa Theta at Kansas State University, graduating in 1984. He served as Chapter President, House Manager, and Chaplin of the collegiate chapter. In 1983, Doug was elected as one of the (then) two undergraduate trustees on the National Fraternity Board and served as Secretary of the Fraternity Board. He joined the Professional Staff of the Fraternity in 1985 and assisted in moving the national offices from Worcester, Massachusetts, to Indianapolis that same year. He served in various roles on the professional staff in Indianapolis, retiring as its 5th executive director in 1982.
After serving as executive director for the Fraternity, Doug served as the Managing Director of a professional contemporary dance company in Indianapolis before joining the marketing and development team of WFYI, Indy's local public broadcasting organization, retiring in 2001 as Vice President for Marketing and Development.
He went on to earn his MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He is currently a resident real estate broker in central Indiana and leads a team of real estate agents, mortgage originators, appraisers, inspectors, and contractors. Doug is also an accomplished vocalist and professional studio singer.
Trustee – Manny Gonzalez (Texas A&I University, '82)

Manny González has been a pivotal figure in the environmental oilfield waste management sector. He navigated through various leadership roles at US Liquids of Louisiana (USLL) and was instrumental in the evolution of R360 Environmental Solutions as its Executive Vice-President. With a career that spans across continents, including the UK, the Middle East, and the Americas, his global business acumen is recognized and respected.
González is currently the President & CEO of Westco Holdco LLC (Ethoscapes LLC). The parent company of the recently merged Westco Grounds Maintenance LLC and Champions Hydro-Lawn, Houston’s two top leading commercial landscape and erosion control businesses and continues to influence and innovate in his fields.
González has served as a Trustee of the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation and is a founding member of the PKT Alamo Alumni Association (PKTAAA). In 2022, the Phi Kappa Theta National Foundation presented him with the Man of Achievement Award. He began his fraternity journey at Texas A&I University with the Texas Kappa Tau Chapter.
A Kingsville, Texas native, González, holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Texas A&I and is not only a business leader but also a car enthusiast, a competitive sporting clays shooter, and a guitar aficionado.
He and his wife of 41 years, Lucinda, co-own a Spanish wine business and are proud parents to two daughters.
Trustee - National Chaplain, Msgr. Nelson (Northern Illinois University, '09)

The Reverend Monsignor Glenn L. Nelson graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education for the Hearing Impaired in 1987.
After teaching and interpreting for the deaf in a public school for two years, he decided to enter St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein, IL to study to become a Catholic priest. He earned a Bachelor's in Sacred Theology and a Master's of Divinity degree in 1993. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Rockford in IL, and after serving in various priestly capacities, Msgr. Nelson then completed his post-graduate studies in 2000 at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, earning a Licentiate Degree in Canon Law.
Msgr. Nelson became a member of Phi Kappa Theta while serving as Pastor at Christ the Teacher Parish/Newman Catholic Student Center in DeKalb, IL. Msgr. Nelson currently serves as Vicar General/Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Rockford and Director for the Deaf Apostolate. Msgr. Nelson is also a member of the Board of Directors for the National Catholic Office for the Deaf and is honored to serve as National Chaplain for the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity.
Trustee - Matt Runkle (Worcester Polytechnic Institute, '11)
+ Bio
Matt Runkle joined Phi Kappa Theta at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. As an alumnus, he served the Aquinas Association, Massachusetts Lambda's alumni board and housing corporation, for many years in advising and operations leadership positions. He was awarded the Alan Okun Memorial Award for Excellence in Chapter Advising by WPI in 2014. Matt has also served as the Fraternity Board Secretary and Chair of the Peer Accountability Committee and regularly facilitates Regional Leadership Conferences.
Professionally, Matt leads a product security team for SmartBear Software, where he partners with software developers to fix vulnerabilities and architect products with security and privacy at their core. He earned a master's degree in Cyber Security from New York University in 2015.
Matt resides in the Boston suburbs with his husband, Blair, and their three dogs.
